Marlene Brouwer completed a Diploma in Analytical Psychology at the
C.G. Jung Institute, Zürich, 1999. She has professional membership in the International Association for Analytical Psychology and Western Canada Association of Jungian Analysts which authorize practice as a designated Jungian Analyst and psychotherapist. Her background includes a B.A. and Master’s degree in Theological Studies (Pastoral Counseling and Feminist Theology) from St. Stephen’s College, University of Alberta. She practiced 10 years in Denmark as a Jungian Psychoanalyst and Supervisor/Trainer, and took additional training over 6 years in Intensive Short Term Psychodynamic Therapy while participating on the Executive board of the Academy for Integrated Psychotherapy, Aarhus University Psychiatric Hospital. She has a private practice offering Jungian Analysis and short term psychotherapy in downtown Victoria.
